NEXT MEETING

Leeds City Toastmasters

Thursday 31st May, 7pm at the Novotel Hotel, Whitehall Quay, LS1 4HR

Free for guests and no booking required

Do you want to develop your public speaking skills? Get confident talking in front of others? Improve your general communucation? Become a better leader? Meet interesting and friendly people? Try something totally different? Have fun?

If you answer yes to any of those questions, our clubs might be for you!

We are White Rose Speakers and Leeds City Toastmasters, two of over 16,000 clubs that are part of Toastmasters International, the world’s largest non-profit organisation dedicated to public speaking.

Our members are of varied ages and backgrounds – we have some experienced speakers, and a lot of enthusiastic amateurs. The two things they have in common are a passion for personal development and a commitment to having fun whilst improving.

No matter which club you visit or join, you will find that all are welcome and that our clubs are a safe place to fail – we are all in the same situation and we place a lot of emphasis on encouraging each other.

Interested? Why not come along to a meeting or two to find out more? No need to tell us you’re coming – just show up!

White Rose Speakers meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the Jurys Inn Hotel, Brewery Place, Leeds, LS10 1NE. Full details on the venue can be found here.

Leeds City Toastmasters meet on the 1st, 3rd and, if there is one, 5th Thursday of the month at the Novotel Hotel, 4 Whitehall Quay, Leeds, LS1 4HR near Leeds railway station. Full details on the venue can be found here.

You are welcome to visit one or both of our clubs. Although we share this website each club is run independently and has different members and committees and you may find that one suits you better than the other.

Meetings at both begin at 7pm sharp, so we advise you to be there for around 6:45pm.
